INAUGURAL COMMONWEALTH POWERLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2005
To whom it may concern:-
As an official of the IPF (International Powerlifting Federation) I was
delighted to be invited to participate in the inaugural Commonwealth
Championships which were held in the Concordia Leisure Centre, Cramlington,
Northumberland, England.
9th - 10th - 11th September.
Although not representing the IPF in any capacity as such at this competition,
it will be my pleasure to report to the IPF Executive that their confidence in
supporting this event (the donation of trophies) has been justly rewarded.
Meet/Competition Director Mr. Fred McKenzie and Director of Powerlifting Great
Britain Mr. Peter Fiore and their organising teams are to be congratulated for
this superb "World Class" production equalling and surpassing many of the one
hundred or so International Powerlifting events that I have witnessed during the
past 30 years.
I commend these Championships and their future and wish all involved the success
they deserve.
